Pakistan on Monday defeated Zimbabwe in the second Test by an innings and 147 runs, claiming the two-match series by 2-0.
After winning the toss Pakistan decided to bat first. In their first innings, the Green Shirts declared it at 510 while losing eight wickets. Abid Ali remained the top scorer by smashing 215 runs, followed by Azhar Ali (126).
Later, Pakistan bowled out Zimbabwe for 132 with the help of Hasan Ali’s five-wicket haul. Taking their second innings immediately after a follow-on, Zimbabwe only managed to score 231 runs.
Pakistani bowlers Shaheen Afridi and Nauman Ali took five wickets each against the African side. Pakistan also won the first Test by an innings and 116 runs.
Earlier, Pakistan won T20I series against the host by 2-1. Zimbabwe claimed 19-run victory over the touring team in the second T20I after bowling them out for 99.
