The first T20 match out of three T20 series between Pakistan and Bangladesh is scheduled to be played today at 1 pm local time.
The first match will be played in Sher-e-Bangla stadium which is located in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh.
Babar Azam will lead the side while Shadab Khan will be the vice-captain.
Haider Ali, Khushdil Shah, Mohammad Nawaz and Mohammad Wasim (jr) were called up to the 12 player squad.
Mohammad Rizwan, Fakhar Zaman, Shoaib Malik, Haris Rauf, Hassan Ali and Shaheen Shah Afridi were also included in the announced squad.
Pakistan is going with a full-strength side as they look to continue their T20 World Cup momentum.
It should be mentioned that Bangladesh’s recent performance in their home ground has been exceptional as they beat New Zealand and Australia to clinch the series victories.
After today’s match, Green shirts will also play two more T20 matches on 20 and 22 November respectively.
Pakistan is also set to play the Test series against Bangladesh later in their tour.
It should be noted that this is Shoaib Malik’s last international series before he hung up his boots from international cricket.
