To mark World Children’s Day, twenty monuments across Pakistan turned blue, Unicef Pakistan tweeted on Wednesday.

Karachi, Islamabad, Peshawar, Quetta, Ziarat, Karachi and Lahore, are the cities where the monuments turned blue.
The idea behind it was to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Convention of the Rights of the Child.
UNICEF Pakistan shared a magical picture of the Quaid’s tomb, the resting place of the country’s founding father, in blue.

Minar-e-Pakistan, Prime Minister’s Office, the Ministry of Human Rights, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Saudi-Pak Tower in Islamabad were among the buildings which bathed in blue in honor of World Children’s Day.
