Pakistan to summon US diplomat for demarche over Joe Biden’s statement

Chairman PPP and foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari on Saturday said that, Pakistan has summoned US charge d’affaires Donald Blome for official demarche over Joe Biden’s statement regarding Pakistan’s nuclear power.
In response to a question regarding US President’s statement, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that, in an informal event, the US President spoke about many countries in which Pakistan was also discussed.
The foreign minister said that he had spoken to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif regarding the statement of the US President, and the US Ambassador will be summoned for official demarche over Biden’s allegations.
“US President’s statement is surprising, but Pakistan is committed to the survival of its integrity, if there is a question about the nuclear weapons of any country, it is India, the direction of our foreign policy is correct,” he added.
Pakistan one of the most dangerous nation
The United States (US) President Joe Biden alleged that, Pakistan may be one of the most dangerous nation in the world as the country has nuclear weapon without any cohesion.
He expressed these views while addressing the reception of the Democratic Congress Campaign Committee on Thursday.
“And Pakistan, I think, is maybe one of the most dangerous nations in the world to have nuclear weapons without any cohesion,” Joe Biden was quoted as saying in a transcript of the speech posted on the White House website.
Joe Biden statement Baseless
While talking to the media representatives in Gujranwala, Federal minister for power, Khurram Dastgir answered the question regarding the statement of the US President Joe Biden.
He said that, “international agencies have confirmed the protection of Pakistan’s nuclear program not once but many times, our command and control system is absolutely safe.”
The Energy Minister said that, “the statement of the US President on Pakistan’s nuclear program has no basis and is completely baseless.”
