Pakistan to send its Army for security of FIFA world cup 2022, confirms Marriyum Aurangzeb
Federal cabinet has approved a draft agreement that allows the government to provide troops for security at the FIFA football World Cup 2022 in Qatar Federal Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb said.
Federal Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb has confirmed this in a conversation with a foreign news agency.
Information minister said that the federal cabinet has approved the security agreement for the Football World Cup in Qatar.
“Pakistan will send its military troops for the security of the FIFA Football World Cup 2022,” she said.
Marriyum Aurangzeb said that the summary of the agreement reached between Doha and Islamabad has been approved by the Cabinet.
The Football World Cup is scheduled in November this year in Qatar.
