Pakistan to play its role in food crisis, climate change, says Bilawal

Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, while addressing the Global Food Security Call to Action Conference in New York, said that Pakistan wanted to play its dominant role to eradicate food crisis and climate change issues in the region and world.
He said that Pakistan is on the list of countries most affected by climate change while the world is also facing issues like climate change and food shortage so there is a need to work together for food security.
He said that Pakistan wanted to play a role in the food crisis and climate change in the region and around the world.
“Conflicts divide the world when there is a great need to unite, the new generation is looking to the leadership to unite the world,” further adding that, “the world should have been united in the Corona epidemic, a concerted effort is needed to eradicate Corona, while the coronavirus vaccine must be considered a universal right.” Bilawal said.
Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari further said that Pakistan was assisting Afghanistan on the basis of humanitarian sympathy, adding that despite limited resources, we provided humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan and Ukraine.
Earlier, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto met with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres and President of the UN General Assembly Abdullah Shahid.
According to reports, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari raised the issue of serious human rights violations in Indian Illegal Occupied Jammu and Kashmir during his meetings at the UN Headquarters while urging that the dispute be resolved in accordance with the resolutions of the Kashmir Security Council and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
