The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced on Friday that the National team’s preparations for the T20 World Cup will begin on Sunday, October 10.
In an official statement, the PCB announced that ICC Men’s T20 World Cup-bound Pakistan side will start a “seven-day training” and conditioning camp at the National High-Performance Centre and LCCA field under bio-secure standards in Lahore on Sunday.
The squad members and their families will enter the bio-secure bubble and will be tested upon arrival Today (Friday).
“After returning negative tests, the players will be allowed to commence their preparations from Sunday with the gym sessions at NHPC,” said the PCB.
The PCB announced the cricketers’ training plan, stating that Pakistani cricketers will practice at the LCCA venue on October 11-12 at 1:30 pm and play “a scenario match” under the lights on October 14.
“It will start at 6 pm. No training activity has been scheduled for October 13,” statement mentioned.
The squad will depart for Dubai on October 15.
