Pakistan strongly condemns derogatory remarks by BJP officials against Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)

Pakistan has strongly condemned highly derogatory remarks recently made by two senior leaders of India’s ruling party BJP, that disrespect the Holy Prophet Mohammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif also condemned the BJP leader’s statement and urged the world to take notice of the matter and reprimand and condemn India.
In his statement, Shahbaz Sharif said that he had repeatedly said that under Modi’s leadership, India was violating religious freedoms and oppressing Muslims.
In a statement issued on Twitter, the Prime Minister further said that Muslims love the Holy Prophet (PBUH) most and they can sacrifice their lives for the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
“Our love for the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is supreme. All Muslims can sacrifice their life for the Love & Respect of their Holy Prophet (PBUH),” PM said.
Former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s has also reacted over the blasphemy of Holy Prophet (PBUH) by the spokesperson of India’s Hindu extremist ruling party BJP.
“I strongly condemn the hateful attack by a BJP spokesperson on our beloved Holy Prohpet (PBUH),” Imran Khan said in a statement on Twitter.
He said the Modi government was deliberately pursuing a policy of provocation and hatred towards Muslims in India.
Imran Khan further said that this kind of attack on our Holy Prophet (PBUH) is the most painful act that anyone can do against the Muslims because we Muslims respect and love our Holy Prophet (PBUH) very much.
He demanded that the World Islamic Organization (OIC) take stern action against Modi’s India which has so far allowed with its anti-Islamic policies.
President Arif Alvi has also strongly condemned the derogatory remarks of the BJP leaders against Holy Prophet (PBUH)
The President of Pakistan said in a statement that suspending and expelling party officials was not enough.
President Arif Alvi called on the international community and the United Nations to take serious notice of the rising Islamophobia in India.
He said that derogatory and controversial statements have hurt the feelings of Muslims all over the world. Under Modi’s hateful Hindutva philosophy, India is violating the religious freedoms of all its minorities.
On the other hand, Chairman PPP and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the time has come for the United Nations to stop Hindutva inspired Islamphobia in India.
