Pakistan star pacer Naseem Shah diagnosed with pneumonia

Pakistan’s right-arm pacer Naseem Shah has been diagnosed with pneumonia amid the bilateral series between Pakistan and England, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed.
PCB’s medical panel is monitoring Naseem Shah, according to sources.
Sources said that Naseem’s participation in the green shirts’ remaining fixtures with England including the upcoming tri-series in New Zealand will be decided after reviewing his medical reports.
Earlier, Naseem Shah has been ruled out from the fifth T20I match against England in Lahore, due to high fever following a chest infection.
The 19-year-old bowler’s health got deteriorated on Tuesday. He was initially treated in the hotel by the team doctor. Later when his fever got high then he was shifted to a private hospital in Lahore.
