Pakistan reports three deaths, 728 new Covid-19 cases in 24 hours
Pakistan continues to witness a surge in COVID-19 cases as the country reported 728 fresh cases during the past 24 hours, as per the statistics issued by the National Institute of Health (NIH) on Saturday.
According to fresh statistics, the COVID-19 positivity rate in Pakistan witnessed a slight decline as it was recorded at 3.59 percent from yesterday’s 3.83%
Pakistan has conducted 20,272 tests in the past 24 hours out of which 728 persons were tested positive for the disease. The COVID Positivity Ratio was recorded at 3.59 percent.
On Friday, Pakistan recorded highest single-day death toll in five months as 11 people lost their lives to the virus. The South Asian country reported 624 Covid-19 cases on Friday.
