 Pakistan records 979 new covid-19 cases, 27 deaths in 24 hours

Pakistan has reported 979 positive cases of covid-19 with 27 deaths in the past 24 hours, according to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC).

Total 42,602 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours as the positivity percentage was measured at 2.3%.

Positive Cases: 979
Positivity % : 2.3%
Deaths : 27

Moreover, there are total 1,499 new recoveries in the country.

Pakistan is alarmingly facing the third wave of the coronavirus and it has so far reported 957,371 confirmed cases and 22,281 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic.
