Pakistan records 2,158 new covid-19 cases, 40 deaths in 24 hours
Pakistan has reported 2,158 positive cases of covid-19 with 40 deaths in the past 24 hours, according to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC).
Total 34,216 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours as the positivity percentage was measured at 6.30%.
Moreover, there are total 1,029 new recoveries in the country.
Pakistan is expecting to face fourth wave of the coronavirus and it has so far reported 998,609 confirmed cases and 22,928 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic.
