RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Railways has extended the notification of the suspension of train operation all over the country till further order in the wake of the spread of the coronavirus.
The previous notification will expire at 12 midnight today.
On Mar 21, the Ministry of Railways had announced to suspend 34 up and down trains for indefinite period, in view of the fear of the Coronavirus. Later, all the train operation was suspended.

President visits quarantine center in Taxila
President, Dr Arif Alvi visited a Quarantine center at the University of Engineering and Technology Taxila on Monday to review arrangements for the patients.
The first lady Begum Samina Alvi also accompanied him during the visit. The President was apprised that the quarantine center has the capacity to adjust about 600 patients.
He expressed confidence over the arrangements and measures taken for care of patients in the quarantine center.
