 Pakistan Railways decides to run 4 special trains on the occasion of Eid

Rawalpindi: Pakistan Railways has decided to run 4 special Eid trains on Eid-ul-Adha.

Advance booking of special Eid train from Rawalpindi to Multan will also be started from Saturday, July 25, while an additional coach will be installed with all the trains for 5 days from July 27 to July 31.

An economy class coach will be installed daily for the Green Line Express from Rawalpindi to Karachi from July 27 to July 30. Three special Eid trains will run from July 27, 28, and 29 from Karachi to Rawalpindi, Peshawar, said Syed Munawar Shah, Regional Superintendent Railway. According to him, this time our focus is more economy class, we are booking 60% seats for each coach.

Under Social Distance SOP, 40% of seats are being kept vacant. An additional economy coach will also be installed in Tezgam, Sir Syed, Pakistan, and Awam Express.
