Pakistan summoned Gaurav Ahluwalia, the Indian Charge of Affairs, and protested strongly about the Indian occupation forces’ ceasefire violations along the Control Line.
Foreign Office spokesperson Aisha Farooqui said in a statement that four innocent civilians embraced martyrdom while another yesterday was injured in indiscriminate and unprovoked firing by the Indian occupation forces in Bagsar and Nikial Line of Control Sectors.
Aisha Farooqui said the Indian occupation forces were constantly attacking civilian populated areas with artillery fire, heavy-caliber mortars, and automatic weapons along the LoC and Working Boundary.
India has committed 1410 ceasefire violations so far this year, resulting in 12 shahadat and serious injuries to over 100 innocent civilians.
On Wednesday, civilians including a woman martyred by the Indian Army along the (LoC) in ceasefire violations.
Indian forces violated the ceasefire on the LoC by firing indiscriminately at Nikial & Bagsar Sectors and targeting the civilian population, according to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Further, the ISPR spokesman said 4 innocent civilians including a woman in Ratta Jabbar & Lewana Khaiter vill embraced shahadat, 1 civilian was injured. Pak Army troops responded to Indian firing in an effective manner.
It should be noted that General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Staff of the Army (COAs) today chaired the Conference of Corps Commander at General Headquarters Rawalpindi, the military media arm said.
