LONDON: At least 15 candidates of Pakistani origin have win big in recently held election in the United Kingdom.
According to details, Sajid Javed from the Conservative Party has become the MP for Bromsgrove and increased his already majority by 6,533 votes.
Labor Party’s Naz Shah has claimed victory for the third time consecutively from Badford West while Khalid Mahmood remained Birmingham’s MP.
Meanwhile, Labor Party’s Yasmin Qureshi has managed to hold on to Bolton South East whereas, Rehman Chishti from Conservative Party and Labor’s Imran Hussain have also clinched victory in their respective constituencies.
Zara Sultana and Tahir Ali Labor Party’s candidates have bagged votes in Coventry South and Birmingham Hall Green respectively.
Moreover, success was also faced by Saqib Bhatti in Meridian.
