Pakistan marks 31 years since Pakka Qila Massacre
Pakistan is observing 31st anniversary of the deadliest massacres in the country’s history, Pakka Qila Massacre.
The immigrants from India, who resided at Pakka Qila located in Pakistan’s Hyderabad were declared terrorists.
Over 100 people lost their lives. Children and women were also brutally killed between 26-27 May, 1990.
Many women committed suicide for the sake of their dignity and those who got victimised suffered mental issues later.
However, the situation got under controlled when Pakistan Army took over the matter.
The incident happened when the Pakistan Peoples Party was in the government at the Centre.
