KARACHI: Pakistan is highly expecting to undergo the worst gas crisis in the first month of next year, 2021. The shortage of 500 mmcfd is expected in the system of the Sui Northern Gas Company (SNGC).

The RLNG supply to power sectors will be closed, however 250 mmcfd will be provided to the domestic sector but 250 mmcfd would still be deficient.

The shortage of gas will be observed from 4th till 20th January, 2021.

According to Petroleum Division Officials, the provision of RLNG to CNG and Fertilizer sectors have already been halted. They further added, it has come to an end as the LNG vessel which has to be arrived by 18th December, got delayed because the cargo had caught fire.
