Pakistan extended Saturday in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic the suspension of its domestic and international flight ban until April 30.
In a tweet the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority said the ban on all flight operations was extended until April 30.
“As per the decision of the Government of Pakistan, the suspension of International and Domestic flight operations as effected earlier has been extended upto Thursday, April 30, 2020 at 2359 hours PST,” the authority tweeted.
However due to the coronavirus pandemic, special flights will be run to repatriate thousands of Pakistanis stranded in various countries. PIA conducted special flights to and from Islamabad from April 15, and will continue to operate until April 20.
