ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and the European Union have signed an agreement worth 13 million Euros, for public financial management.
Secretary Economic Affairs Division Syed Pervaiz Abbas and EU Ambassador to Pakistan Androulla Kaminara signed the agreement in Islamabad on Friday.
Under the agreement, the European Union will provide assistance to bring improvement in macro fiscal policies, process of budget preparation and forecasting.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister for Economic Affairs Hammad Azhar said the government was committed to ensure equal economic and social progress in the country.
He said the scope of public financial support would be broadened to Sindh, Balochistan and at federal level.
