ISLAMABAD: A two-member special task force from Pakistan Embassy Beijing visited Wuhan city to meet Pakistani students and get first-hand information on their well-being and safety after the outbreak of coronavirus.
The task force members visited Pakistani students in four universities and also met administrative staff in each university. All the students in the universities visited were safe, healthy and well looked after, they said.

“All those in need of any medical attention due to coronavirus infection are provided immediate and best available medical,” they added.
Three Pakistani students at Guangzhou city and one in Wuhan who were infected by the coronavirus have fully recovered and discharged from the hospitals.
China commends NA Pakistan to support its fight against coronavirus
China has highly commended the National Assembly of Pakistan for expressing support and appreciating its efforts to battle and control coronavirus. This was stated by Chinese Foreign Ministry’s Spokesperson Geng Shuang during his online briefing.
He said that China and Pakistan were close neighbors with a fine tradition of helping each other and the relevant resolution once again fully demonstrated how the people of both sides had shared weal and woe.
He said, “We stand ready to strengthen communication and coordination with Pakistan in a highly responsible manner to safeguard the health and safety of the Pakistanis in China.”
