ISLAMABAD: Eulogising the success of Pakistan Citizen Portal, Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday said as for resolution of complaints was concerned, a total of 680,000 complaints were resolved out of 800,000 lakh complaints registered so far.
“More than one million citizens have registered at Pakistan Citizens Portal within eight months of its launch,” PM Imran Khan wrote in a tweet.
He said it was testament of people’s trust on the system and its effectiveness. He said no political or bureaucratic reference was required to reach out to a public office.
The prime minister said it was true citizen’s empowerment in Naya Pakistan.
Prime Minister Imran Khan had on June 17 expressed optimism that Pakistan would soon become a developed and prosperous nation.
“The world is looking towards Pakistan as a country full of strategic and investment opportunities because of untiring efforts of the incumbent government,” Imran Khan had said while talking to a group of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senators at his chamber in the Parliament House in Islamabad.
The prime minister had said people deemed parliamentarians as spokespersons of their rights and aspirations. He had said when parliamentarians became voice of the people, it increased their respect.
