Pakistan has become the first country ever to include a legally recognized transgender woman on the UN Session Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) in its National Delegation in Geneva, Switzerland.

According to details, Aisha Mughal is a Transgender expert in the Ministry of Human Rights.

During the session, Pakistan State delegation led by the Ministry of Human Rights, successfully finished the review of Pakistan’s fifth Periodic UN CEDAW Report in Geneva.
