 Pakistan announced 15-members squad for Women’s Cricket World Cup

Lahore: The national women’s team for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup has been announced. Bisma Maroof was given the responsibilities of captain while Nida Dar assist as a vice captain.

Announcing the squad at a news conference, the chief selector of the women’s team Asmavia Iqbal said that Bisma Maroof has been made the captain for the Women’s Cricket World Cup to be played in New Zealand from March 4 to April 3.

She said that in the 15-member squad, captain Bisma Maroof, vice-captain Nidar Dar, Aima Anwar, Alia Riaz, Anum Amin, Diana Baig, Fatima Sana, Ghulam Fatima, Jawariya Khan, Muneeba Ali, Nahida Khan, Nashra Sindhu, Omaima Sohail, Sidrah Amin and Sidrah Nawaz. Iram Javed, Nabihaa Alvi and Toba Hassan will accompany as reserve players.
