Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said Pakistan Army will continue its responsible and positive role for regional peace without sacrificing motherland’s national security and defense at all costs.
Addressing the 228th Corps Commanders’ Conference held at GHQ in Rawalpindi on Tuesday, the ISPR said that Pakistan has contributed significantly towards peace and stability in the region.
He said the the Indian military leadership’s comments about aggression against Pakistan are reckless rhetoric, with consequences for regional peace and stability.
The Conference of Corps Commanders studied the geo-strategic, regional and national security environment and discussed internal security, border situation, Line of Control and Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The forum also discussed the emerging security situation in the Middle East, referring to the stand-off between the US and Iran and its consequences for regional peace and stability.
