RAWALPINDI: Indian troops on Tuesday opened fire across the Line of Control leaving one Pakistan Army soldier and a civilian martyred in Azad Kashmir.
Media wing of armed forces, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that the Indian troops opened unprovoked fire along Tander sector and deliberately targeted civilian population. A 15-year-old boy was martyred and four other people, including one 80 years old man, got injured as a result of the Indian firing.
Pakistan Army responded in a befitting manner and inflicted loss of lives and properties on the other side of the LoC. Soldier Shafique embraced shahadat during exchange of fire on this occasion.
