 Pak-Army rescues stranded people in Gilgit-Skardu road

On Friday, Pakistan Army rescued several people who were stranded on both sides of the road after a huge land sliding blocked the Gilgit-Skardu road.

According to details, Pakistan Army used helicopter to rescue stranded passengers including women, children and elderly people. People who were rescued were shifted to Gilgit and Skardu.

On Thursday the Gilgit-Skardu Road had been blocked by a huge land sliding in the Bishu area near Skardu. The road blocked all sorts of traffic and trapped hundreds of people in the area where the temperature was well below the freezing point on both sides of the road.
