RAWALPINDI: China has gifted Pakistan Army vaccines against COVID-19, HUM News reported on Monday.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Pakistan Air Force’s plane Ilyushin IL-78 transported the vaccines from the neighbour country.
According to media reports, Pakistan Army received the vaccines from China’s Peoples Liberation Army in a ceremony. High-ranking military officials from China and Pakistan were present in the ceremony.
However, the ISPR has announced to provide the vaccines to frontline health workers. “They (frontline health workers) are our real heroes,” the military’s media wing remarked.
