Owner of restaurant clarifies on rumour about refusal to give Hindus food

THATTA: Taking notice of a report, Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) Thatta Shabbir Ahmed Sethar has sought clarification from owner of a hotel for allegedly refusing to give food to Hindu community in Gharo, near Thatta.

Owner and manager of Al-Habib restaurant Mansoor Kalhoro arrived at the police station to give clarification in this regard. He refuted authenticity of the news saying that his hotel offered food to poor whether Hindu or non-Hindu alike without any discrimination. He said anybody could personally visit the eatery and check how they treated people there. He pledged to provide poor people food from his hotel.

The members of the Hindu community lauded the SSP for seeking clarification from owner of the restaurant.
