“Our divorce wasn’t through mutual consent”, says Madiha Rizvi’s ex-husband

“Our divorce wasn’t through mutual consent”, says Madiha Rizvi’s ex-husband

Actress Madiha Rizvi announced that she and her husband Hasan Noman have parted ways amicably but Hasan condemned his ex-wife’s decision to divorce.

A few days ago, actress Madiha Rizvi announced her separation from Hasan Noman on Instagram. She wrote, “With much gratitude for our time together, Hasan and I have amicably finalised our divorce. We’ve been working hard for well over a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible between us. And the final conclusion is to part our ways for the best”.

While talking about their girls, Madiha wrote, “However, we are and will always be a family, as we continue to co-parent our two incredibly wonderful girls”.

Now, Madiha’s former husband Hasan also broke the silence and issued a statement. He wrote, “I would like to announce that although our divorce has been finalised, it was not through mutual consent”.

Noman showed serious concerns about their daughters and further wrote, “I have been very concerned about our daughters having a well-rounded life experience and would want to reiterate that I strongly believe in the institution of marriage and did not want this divorce…Madiha exercised her right to divorce which resulted in this decision that I condemn as a Muslim”.
