KARACHI: The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has recommenced its flight operation from Saudi Arabia.

Previously, Saudi Arabia had imposed a restriction on the international flight services on 21st December due to spread of Covid-19.

According to the PIA spokesperson, Riyadh has only allowed one way flights to bring back stranded Pakistanis. It has permitted foreign airlines to operate their flights and can carry Non-Saudi passengers with them.

PIA CEO Arshad Malik said, “It is a national responsibility to bring back Pakistanis stranded abroad.”

Moreover, the Saudi Arabian authorities have instructed the crew of the airlines to prohibit physical contact with ground operation staff and none of them should be leaving their aircrafts.
