One soldier martyred in IED blast in Landi Kotal: ISPR

In an IED attack in Landi Kotal, one Pakistan’s army solider embraced martyrdom and four soldiers got injured, the Inter-Service Public Relations said Thursday.

“One soldier was martyred and four others wounded in an improvised explosive device (IED) attack along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. There was an IED attack on troops busy in Fencing along Pak-Afghan Border near Kandao Sar Post in Landikotal,” told ISPR.

According to statement issued by ISPR, the troops were busy fencing along the Pak-Afghan border at the time of the explosion.

The martyred soldier was identified as Lance Naik Taqdeer Ali Orakzai, the ISPR added.
