One killed, three wounded as water tanker crashes into bank in Karachi

KARACHI: A speeding water tanker rammed into a bank in North Nazimabad area of Karachi leaving one dead and three others injured on Monday.

The heavy vehicle was descending from the slope of Kati Pahari when the driver lost control of it because of its speed and it rammed into the building after hitting two cars parked beside it. The driver fled from the site of the incident.

Police said the deceased was a bank customer and came for some work. The body and injured were shifted to a hospital for medico-legal formalities and treatment.
