 One dead, 10 injured in roof collapse incident in Karachi

KARACHI: At least one man died and 10 others got injured when roof of a company collapsed in SITE area, Karachi, on Monday.

Rescue officials recovered eight injured people from under the debris, four of them are in critical condition. Chhipa sources said that more people were feared to be trapped under the rubble.

The dead and injured were rushed to Civil Hospital Karachi for medico-legal formalities and treatment respectively.

Local media reported that fire erupted in the steel factory, located near Shershah Pakistan Cable, after the roof caved in.
