LAHORE: The man, who had reportedly been demanding ‘Quaid’s Pakistan’ for several years by standing alone at Liberty Chowk with placard in his hand, has passed away before his demand was fulfilled.

The placard in Ikram ul Haq hand read “We want Quaid’s Pakistan”. The old man could be seen standing silently along the road to register his protest against bad governance in the country.

Ikram had also been a part of the students federation which played its role in Pakistan Movement for freedom from the British rule and a separate country for Muslims.

His picture with founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Mohammed Ali Jinnah manifests his love for the country.
