 OIC demands United Nations to criminalize blasphemy

Riyadh: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has demanded that the United Nations criminalize blasphemy.

terrorism and freedomThe OIC has called on the United Nations to issue a resolution banning blasphemy. OIC says OIC once again opposes linking Islam to terrorism, freedom of expression does not mean division among UN.

On the other hand, OIC Secretary General Dr. Yousuf Al-Uthaymeen in his address to the 47th Session of the Muslim Foreign Ministers said that terrorism is an international issue and it is a cancer of the present age.

Dr. Yusuf Al-Uthaymeen said that the anti-Islamic statement is reprehensible even if anyone commits it.
