Oil and Gas Regulartory Authority has increased the price of gas for CNG sector to Rs 88 per Metric Million British Thermal Unit (MMBTU).
According to the notification issued by OGRA, gas has been made more expensive for CNG, power sector, industry and export sector while the price of gas for domestic consumers has not been increased.
CNG 88 for Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa while Rs 67 per MMBTU gas for Sindh and Balochistan has been increased.
Gas rose to Rs 33 per mmbtu for General Industrial and Rs 66 per mmbtu for the export sector.
Gas for captive power plants has been increased to Rs 66 per MMB to U.
According to OGRA, the price of gas for the fertilizer sector has been increased by Rs. 2 per mmbtu, gas for power stations has been increased by Rs. BTU added.
Similarly, gas for IPPs has also been increased to Rs 33 per MMBTU
