KARACHI: Offal of sacrificial animals could not be lifted from different areas in Karachi despite passage of six days to Eid-ul-Adha on Saturday.

Due to defective cleanliness arrangements, offal have been left on different streets. Offal as well as piles of garbage could not be lifted from different places in Korangi Crossing, Liaquatabad No 10, Dak Khana, Dalmia, Shanti Nagar, Gulistan-e-Johar and Gulshan-e-Iqbal.

Fetid and rancid odour have spread all over because of offal and rain-sewage-mixed water. Taking breath has become difficult for people.

Health experts have warned that this could lead to different diseases.
