ODI rankings: Pakistan overtakes India to take fourth position

Pakistan have left India behind in the ICC ODI Rankings after their three-nil whitewash against West Indies on home ground.

The Pakistan team is now fourth in the rankings, with 106 rating points, whereas India have slipped to fifth place with a difference of one point.

Before the start of the series, Pakistan had 102 rating points and was ranked fifth in the world in ODI rankings.

After the three-nil whitewash against West Indies, Pakistan has moved to fourth place after gaining five points, while the Indian team has now moved to fifth position.

In the ranking, Pakistan team has 107 points and India has 106 points.

Notably, during the last two years, Pakistan’s performance in ODI format has been very good and apart from the series defeat against England, Pakistan played the best in all other series.

Pakistan beat Zimbabwe and South Africa as well as Australia and now made a clean sweep against West Indies.

The Pakistan team is likely to continue its good performance in ODI cricket in the coming days as the Pakistan team will play a series against Afghanistan and the Netherlands outside the country as well as host New Zealand.
