Number of Sindh police personnel affected by Corona exceeds 2,500

KARACHI: The number of Coronavirus affected personnel in Sindh Police has exceeded 2515. According to a Sindh police spokesman, 155 new cases of corona have come to light in the last two days.

The spokesman said that so far 16 police officers and youths have been martyred while on duty on the measures taken to control the coronavirus, out of which 14 employees belonged to Karachi and 2 to Hyderabad range while 906 officers and young people have recovered.

The number of officers and men undergoing treatment from Corona is 1593. According to the spokesman of Sindh Police, the personnel affected by Corona are being taken care of and steps are being taken on a daily basis.

The spokesman said that the officers and young men who served as the vanguard against Corona were extremely committed and highly motivated to serve humanity.
