Now we will spend time with family in Ramadan: Babar Azam
At the end of Pakistan’s tour of Australia, National team skipper Babar Azam said in his message that now that the series is over, we will spend time with the family, we will fast, worship and then come again to the game.
Speaking at an online press conference in Lahore, the national team captain said, “I thank Australia and the players for coming to Pakistan. Whenever I spoke to them, they said that they are enjoying playing cricket here in Pakistan.”
Babar Azam further said that ups and downs are the part of game, there are good players in the middle order, we will give them chance, we have time for World Cup and we will succeed in making combination.
“I make the decisions myself and urge the best XI to take the field, I give advice to everyone and try to do what is good for the team,” the captain said.
“We have scored a little low total in the only T20 against Australia, we had to maintain the momentum, we had to improve the fielding and take advantage of the opportunities that were available today,” he added.
Referring to fast bowler Hassan Ali, skipper said that he is having a bad time, we are trying to make him in form and will continue to do so. Hassan has been a match winning bowler for a lot of matches.
Babar Azam added that there was no pressure on us, we will try to do better next time, we did not get the total we were looking for.
