 Noted TV actress Nighat Butt is no more

LAHORE: Renowned TV and stage actress Nighat Butt passed away in Lahore on Friday night after protracted illness.

For almost three decades, she remained active in showbiz. The showbiz industry has expressed deep sense of grief over her death. She was wife of Abid Butt.

She had reportedly been living in poor condition for quite some time. She was even unable to pay rent of her house for last two years after death of her spouse. The government had on different occasions promised to provide her financial aid, but it could never materialise.

Nighat Butt was suffering from various illnesses including blood pressure, diabetes and psychiatric issues.
