Noted Korean YouTuber tries to convince his mother on why he accepted Islam

There are people who believe that Allah (SWT) shows everyone signs to the right path in your lifetime and whenever you encounter any such signal you must surrender yourself to the will of the Almighty.
There is a large number of people who are embracing Islam every other day after getting impressed by its truthfulness and its being the only right religion on the face of the earth to be followed. There is a long list of celebrities who have converted to the religion which originated in Arab.
However, conversion to Islam from Korea is rarely heard of. Probably, this is because of the language barrier. In a fresh news a celebrated South Korean has announced his reversion to Islam. According to the Muslim belief, a person is born a Muslim but his parents lead him to follow some other religion, so if a person converts to Islam, he basically reverts to the religion.
The Korean YouTuber has changed his name from Jay Kim to Daud Kim. In a video, he told that he could relate to the name as when he was born he was given the Christian name David, which is same as Daud. It may be noted that even before making the announcement last month, he had fasted the whole month of Ramadan this year.
“I accept Islam completely with my own free will and promise to fulfill the obligations of Islam. I hereby witness and accept that Allah (God) is my Lord, Muhammed (SAWW) is His messenger, and that Quran is my guidance. I believe in only one Allah (God), His angels, His scriptures, the Judgement day and destiny,” he read in a statement. Then, he recited the shahadah in Arabic.
A Twitteriite posted Daud’s video having a conversation with his mother in which he tries to convince his mother that why he accepted Islam.
Mother: Isn’t it hard to become a Muslim.
Daud Kim: Of course, it’s hard. Korean society has a lot of prejudice against Islam.
Mother: Are you religiously prepared to live as a Muslim?
Daud Kim: I never think about Islam lightly. I am serious enough. But there is some misunderstanding. I have a strong belief in Allah who created me. Everything starts here. It’s not like.. “Oh, I am a Muslim! I have to study Islam like a scholar and impress others!”
Daud: It doesn’t mean that I have to live a difficult and heavy life as you think. I think you misunderstand. I just follow Allah with faith this is not difficult thing.
Mother: Is it possible to not eat pork?
Daud: I will explain. I am a Muslim who believes in Allah. Allah told us not to eat pork. There is a reason, and now I know it, so I can’t eat pork. Even if I know what this tastes like and even if I liked it, now I know why I can’t eat.. so I will not eat porks.
Mother: Can you really do it?
Daud: Of course, I can.
