Noor Muqadam was raped before her murder, DNA report
According to a statement issued by Islamabad Police, a briefing was taken from the investigating officer during the hearing of the case.
According to the statement, IG Islamabad said that there were ambiguities and objections in the media regarding the proceedings of the case which need to be removed.
The investigating officer was asked whether blood was found on the pants of the accused. The investigating officer replied that there was no blood on the pants of the accused but traces of blood of the victim were found on shirt of the accused. According to the forensic report, DNA of the accused and the victim was found on the shirt of the accused. The accused was wearing beads and there was no blood on it but blood of the victim was present on shirt.
According to the statement, in the briefing, it was asked that the second objection was raised whether the fingerprints of the accused were found on the knife. The investigating officer answered “No”. The knife which was seized from the scene and its parcel was prepared by the forensic agency. According to the forensic report, the fingerprint could not be revealed but the DNA of the victim was found on it. Did Noor Muqadam undergo a photogrammetric test? The investigating officer answered “No”.
According to the statement, the photogrammetric test is conducted to verify the identity of the accused. In this case, the accused underwent a photogrammetric test which turned out to be positive. After this incident, the accused tried to destroy a lot of evidence.
Islamabad police said, according to the DNA report, Noor Muqadam was raped before he was killed. The victim tried her best to save her life before the murder. It was found in the nails of the victim. The blood of the victim was present on the shirt of the accused. This was also confirmed by the DNA report.
According to the statement, a Swiss knife was also seized from the scene which killed Noor Muqadam. According to the DNA report, blood of victim was found on blade and handle of knife. According to DNA report, the blood on the iron corn belonged to Noor Muqadam.
IG Islamabad directed that Noor Muqadam case should be followed up in the best possible way.
