KARACHI: Sindh government spokesperson Murtaza Wahab on Friday said nobody would be arrested for violating one-way traffic rule in Karachi.
In a video statement, Murtaza Wahab said the traffic police had not taken the Sindh government into confidence over arrest of citizens. He said he had contacted the additional inspector general of traffic police and relayed to him about the decision of the provincial government. He said the senior police officer had given him assurance in this regard.
“No arrest will be made or FIR will be lodged on violation of one-way traffic rule. The citizens should also abide by the law,” the spokesperson said.
