LAHORE: Inspector General of Punjab Police Inam Ghani on Friday said that no suspect was arrested in motorway rape case who was using ATM card of the victim.
He made this clarification after a fake Twitter account in his name disseminated the rumour that two suspects using ATM cards of the woman were arrested.
“This is the only real account that I have. Kindly report/block all other accounts that are misinforming the public,” the IGP Punjab wrote on his Twitter account.
Police have arrested 12 people in the case and conducted DNA tests of two others.
