PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Inspector General of Police Sanaullah Abbasi on Tuesday said that no specific threat was received about Peshawar madrassa.
He along other senior police officials visited the site of the bomb blast in Dir Colony of Yakatoot area, Peshawar. Police officials briefed the IG about the initial investigation on this occasion. They said five to six kilogram explosive material was used in the blast and some suspects were arrested in Bannu and Bajaur.
The KP IG said there was a large number of mosques and madrassahs in Peshawar and they had provided as much security as they could. He said that they had received threat about Charsadda.
He said every aspect of the incident was being viewed for investigation.
