No representative of Nawaz Sharif met Army Chief, Maryam Nawaz
Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s daughter Maryam Nawaz has said that the issue of Gilgit-Baltistan is related to political and public representatives which should be decided in the parliament and not in the GHQ.
Maryam Nawaz appeared in the Islamabad High Court on Wednesday during the Avenfield reference hearing. It should be noted that Maryam Nawaz and her husband Captain Safdar are also co-accused in the Avenfield reference with former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
Strict security arrangements were made before Maryam Nawaz’s appearance in the court and a heavy contingent of police was present outside the court, while the roads around the High Court were cordoned off.
Before the hearing in the case began, Maryam Nawaz spoke to media persons present in the High Court.
Maryam Nawaz was hit by her own guard who was trying to control the mob after appearing in the Islamabad High Court, she was seen talking to the media.
