“No place for violence in politics:” US ‘strongly condemns’ attack on Imran Khan

US Secretary Antony Blinken has condemned the assassination attack on former prime minister and PTI chairman Imran Khan saying, violence has no place in politics.
In a statement released on Twitter, the US Secretary of State said that, US strongly condemns the attack on former prime minister Imran Khan during a political rally.
“We wish him and all others injured a quick recovery, and we offer condolences to the family of the individual who was killed,” he added.
In a tweet, Blinken also urged all the political parties in the country to remain peaceful.
Imran Khan named alleged conspirators:
In a recent video statement, PTI Secretary General Asad Umar alleged on behalf of PTI Chairman Imran Khan that, prime minister Shehbaz Sharif, federal interior minister Rana Sanaullah and ISI official Major General Faisal Naseer involved in the assassination attempt of party supremo.
He further demanded to remove the above mentioned name from their posts, elsewise warned for countrywide protests against the incident.
