No Pakistani diplomat to attend Indian Republic Day ceremonies

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has announced that Pakistani diplomats will not participate in the ceremonies of India’s Republic Day, scheduled on January 26.
While talking to media in Multan, the minister has said that India is heading towards a Hindutva state and it can no more present its so-called secular face to the world.
“Kashmiris in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, and minorities in India are not safe,” Qureshi continues.
Commenting on the new US administration and Afghan peace process, Qureshi has said that Pakistan and the United States have same policy on Afghanistan, as both countries want peace there.
“Pakistan believes that there is no military solution of Afghanistan issue… and (it) has always supported dialogue process for restoration of peace in Afghanistan,” Foreign Minister added while concluding his press conference.
